Understanding Zalo Sieve Numbers for Smoother Conversations

Ever wondered how to sort through your messages on Zalo without getting overwhelmed? Zalo Sieve Numbers, also known as filters, are your secret weapon. These handy little tools help you organize your chats, making your messaging experience on Zalo a breeze. Here’s a simple guide to setting them up.

Creating Sieve Numbers

First up, get into your Zalo settings. Tap on the Me tab at the bottom right corner, then select Settings. From there, go to the Chat Management section. Here, you'll find the Sieve Numbers tab. Click on it to start creating your filters.

Think about the categories you want to sort your chats into. Maybe you want to separate work messages from personal ones. Once you have your categories in mind, tap on Add Sieve. Give your sieve a name that's easy to remember, like Work or Family. You can also add a description if you want to remind yourself what it’s for.

Assigning Sieve Numbers to Chats

Now that you have your sieves set up, it’s time to start sorting. Open a chat, tap on the three dots at the top right and select Sieve Settings. From there, you can assign the chat to one of your sieves. If you’re using multiple sieves, remember you can assign one chat to multiple sieves too. This is great for messages that fit into more than one category, like a friend who is also a work contact.

Using Sieve Numbers for Quick Access

One of the best things about sieve numbers is how easy they make it to find specific chats. Once you have your sieves set up, you can access them from the Chat List. Simply swipe left on the chat list to reveal the sieve bar. Here, you can see all your chats organized by sieve. Tap on a sieve, and you’ll be whisked away to all the chats in that category. No more endless scrolling!

Updating and Managing Sieves

As your conversations evolve, so might your sieves. You can always go back and update your sieve settings. Just head back to the Sieve Numbers tab in the settings, and you’ll see options to edit or delete sieves. You can even rename them or add more sieves if you find you need them.

Remember, the beauty of sieve numbers is their flexibility. Whether you’re organizing chats for work, family, or friends, they offer a versatile way to keep your messaging chaos-free.
